Elizabeth Faye is finally here!!

I usually have my kids at least 2 weeks before my due date but this little girl decided to make me wait way to long. Last Saturday I started getting frustrated with my home cleanliness, so I began to clean and clean and clean. I finally stopped cleaning around 10:30 at night because Ryan made me sit down and watch a movie with him. We often watch movies late on Saturday nights because our kids are asleep and we don't have church until 11 the next morning. Well at 12:30 a.m. I started to get a few contractions but nothing too big but I had a feeling like I was not going to make it to church, so I showered and told Ryan that he should too. We finally ended up going to bed around 1 in the morning. An hour later I started getting contractions that would not let me sleep so I decided to just clam down and start timing them. Finally at 3 I decided that these were definitely labor contractions and we needed to get to the hospital so I wake my hubby up and tell him we need to get ready to go, to which he replies: "You sure we can't wait till morning?" . So I tell him to go back to bed and we will see how bad they get, finally 30 min. later I know we have to go. There was no way I was going to miss my epidural!! We get to the hospital and after an hour of observation the nurse decides I am in labor. (Like I didn't let her know that already!!!) I quickly tell her to get the anesthesiologist but at the time he was in an emergency c-section. So I calmly ask her to please bring him to my room right when he is done with surgery. Well apparently Saturday was c-section day and nobody told me about it. He finally comes to my room at around 9:30-10 o'clock and I'm already at a 7. I barely made it and apparently according to the anesthesiologist I have a high pain tolerance which I thought oh that's nice but give me my shot. At around 11 I tell Ryan that I feel a bit a pressure and from previous experience we know to call a nurse, well sure enough I was at a 10 and ready to go. So finally two pushes later at 11:50 my little princess was born. With a perfect round head, chubby cheeks, a head full of hair, and perfect in every way. I love this little girl so much already she sure was worth the wait.

Who are you and where is my Husband?!?!?!?!

When I married Ryan he had the classic return missionary look, which is natural since he had just gotten home from his mission. I got him to get rid of the side part but throughout the years he kept the clean shaven look. Well for the past 3 years Ryan has helped out in Cheryl's School of Dance Nutcracker, so from August until the 3rd week of December his smooth face is adorned with a beard. Now don't get me wrong I actually LOVE his beard. So last year December came and went and the beard stayed, Ryan tried repeatedly to shave it but Nathan and I always begged him to keep it, and even though he hated it he keep it for me and the little guy. Well with the upcoming birth of this baby girl I read somewhere that newborns are usually scared of men with facial hair because their eyesight is not fully developed, but it was never a proven fact just a theory. That was enough for Ryan he saw his golden opportunity and last Saturday the beard came off. It was kind of weird, I was so used to seeing the scruffy manly beard for almost a year now, and then here was this handsome smooth face. The next morning I was a bit startled by the face next to me in bed. But I think the shock has finally worn off, and I'm back to falling in love again with my clean shaven honey.
Before the big shave.
The only way Nathan let him shave was if he could help.
Focusing on the job.
Almost there. Looks like he got into a fight with a lawmower.
Ryan does the final step.
Tada!! The finished product.

Its Fru-fru Time!!!

So when I announced that I was having a little girl, Nana, Cheryl Jenkins, Megan Mendoza, and Harmony Preece, very kindly offered to have a baby shower for me. And Megan promised me it would be the fru-fruest (sp) party ever. I wasn't quite sure what they meant when they said fru-fru, not being very girly myself and having three boys didn't give me much of a hint. So Saturday the 26th came and I showed up at Cheryls house expecting lots of pink, that was the most my imagination brought to the table, and man was I blown away. I now love all things fru-fru. These ladies did an awesome job, the food was AMAZINGLY delicious and the decorations were like pictures from a magazine. So thanks ladies for the super fru-fru shower I loved it. And thanks to all who came and gave me such cute girly outfits. I think I'm going to have to remind myself that I'm having a baby and not a little doll to accessorize. :)
Here are some pictures of the incredibly cute decor:

I love the sign that's a bit hidden by the basket, it say "Eat like no one is watching".

Loved these mini cakes and wafer cookies are one of my faves. They even found oreos with pink stuffing.

I think the sign says it all.

Cute and delicious goody bags.

Here I am with the Nana. Yeah I finally found a picture where my belly is hidden!!

Here I am with the ladies, Cheryl, Megan, and Harmony. I hadn't realized how much I know resemble a beached whale until I saw these pictures.

Happy Late Easter!!!

Holy moly! I'm behind on my blogging!! Life has been crazy, but it seems like the boys are going to grant me a couple of minutes of calm time so here I am!! I hope I have been missed. Easter was great as always this year. It has always been a tradition in my family that for Easter every kid gets a cute outfit to wear to church. Now having 3 boys hasn't made it always exiting but this year Ryan and I decided to really get into it. So we got the boys new church suits. They were so stinking cute!! ( I might be a bit partial) But oh no, I did not stop there. I made sure to get all my boys matching ties, and yes this includes Ryan. Needless to say I almost cried when I saw them all together on Sunday morning. I know I know I'm a bit hormonal!!!! Well I got so into my boys and what they were going to wear for easter that I totally forgot about ME!!! So there I am on Sunday morning trying to put together a cute outfit with maternity clothing!! Thank goodness for tights or I would have been showing quite a bit of leg.
sorry still not quite sure how to rotate pics on the blog.
My handsome boys.
Best pic of the family we could get. Kids were tired and momma was hungry.
Well after church we had a traditional Easter dinner and then the kids went easter egg hunting. This was the first time I had to so many people at the our new house, and suprisingly I did not freak out. GO ME!!!
Benjamin and Nathan searching for eggs.
Isaac took a bit longer to find eggs b/c everytime he would find one he would stop open it and say "OH WOW!!"

It Snowed!!!

Okay so it wasn't like the awesome snows in upper states but hey I will take what I can here in C-bad!!! So this morning I exitedly woke the kids up to tell them that it had snowed and after 45 min. of getting them ready to go outside and play. I was ready for a half day outside!!! The kids didn't agree with my plans though and after 7 min. outside we came in for hot cocoa and marshmallows. Hopefully when the kids get older they will want to play in the snow as much as their momma!

The tiny bit of snow we got!!

Benjamin trying to find a spot to make a snow angel.

Nathan loving the snow.

Isaac not quite sure about the snow.

"Look mom!! Snow hands!!!"

Star Wars and My New Obsession!!!

Lately I have been having the hardest time getting the boys to do their chores. I'm not quite sure if its the new house or the fact that 1/3 of our house is still packed and so they see that around and decide: "Hey if mommy is not cleaning why should we??" So we decided to do a chore chart and if they complete their chores everyday at the end of the week they will get a prize. I know I'm basically buying my kids but hey it worked and I'm going to stick to it. Even little Isaac is doing his chores. So what was their reward for the week??

These awesome Storm Trooper outfits from Wal-Mart for only $2.50. I love wally world.
Moving on to my new obsession. I have been craving ice like none other. Yes that's right just plain crunchy ice. So everyday the boys and I load up and head to Sonic (b/c nobody hops like Sonic) and buy three Superman drinks (ocean waters) and a Route 44 cup of Sprite. But here is my specific order. "I need a Route 44 sprite with extra extra ice. Actually can you just make it mainly ice and a tiny bit of sprite. Enough for like three sips." Now at first the car hops thought I was crazy and would look at me like I'm crazy but now I get these wonderful cup full of delicious crunchy ice with three sips of sprite. Just looking at these pics are making my mouth water. Only 40 min. till happy hour and the boys and I will once again load up the van and get our usual.

The Next American Idol!!!

Back in November Ryan performed in the musical "Lucky Stiff" so Ryan and I decided that Nathan was probably old enough to sit still through the performance. Plus this kid loves and I mean LOVES all things music. He goes around the house singing and making up songs all the time much like his father and his great grandfather. Well Nathan loved the musical, especially daddy's song. Now, this kid has only listened to this song an approximate of 6-8 times and he knows almost all the lines. I think he is only missing like 3-4 lines, and he loves to perform it. In fact when I dropped him off at preschool I found out the performed it for his class mates and several teachers. What a HAM!!! So here it is for your viewing pleasure. Maybe he will be the Next American Idol.

ITS A GIRL!!!

That's right folks! After three boys I am finally having a little girl!! I am so thrilled! I'm on cloud nine right now, the house could get turned upside down and I wouldn't even care. I finally get to buy pink things like bows and headbands, frilly dresses, and puffy lace socks!! This poor girl is going to be pooping pink. Yeah for us!! In May we will get to welcome Elizabeth Faye Williamson into our little family.

Nathan's Dinner Prayer.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day, please bless the food so we can be strong like Batman or Superman. Bless our mommies and daddies. And please let the baby be a little girl.

Amen.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Wow it has been a while since I have posted! Ryan was able to take two weeks off for vacation and we did absolutely nothing, and I mean NOTHING!! It might take me a week to get my home in decent shape. But it was great having him at home and the boys loved it. We started out the Christmas holiday at my family's house in Hobbs. My brother and his wife and kids came down so it was great to see them and catch up. Man have my niece and nephew gotten big!!! My mom comes from a family of 12 kids and usually 5-8 of the siblings plus their kids and grand kids meet together, so for the past 6-7 years we have rented a dance hall to accommodate our huge family. Its always great, lots of food, dancing, and Santa always shows up with a gift for each kid. We used to stay there until midnight but now Ryan and I have gotten to old and we make an early exit so we can help Santa set up at our house.

My side of the family.
Benjamin, Nathan, Isaac, Emily, and Kent patiently waiting for Santa.

Yay Santa is here and has presents for every kid.

This year we were all going to have matching pj's for Christmas. I know dorky but I loved the idea! So with the help of Nana my wish came true, we all wen to bed with our matching pj's and Christmas morning pics were going to be extra cute. That is until I walked into Isaac's room and realized he gotten sick during the night, and now his super cute pj's were covered in puke. Not a fun morning for mama. After we opened presents we went over to Nana and Pops to visit for a while, not to long though we didn't want Isaac spreading his Christmas cheer. Then off to the ranch for more presents and of course more food. Over all Christmas was great like it is every year.

Nathan and his gun. Santa did not fully thing this one out.

Benjamin and his Thomas the train set.

Sick Isaac and his Mickey race track.

Uncle Greg and Nathan do not kid about Christmas lunch!! Nathan did eat the whole thing!!!

New Year's was also a blast!!! We did our traditional game night, which Memaw and I totally dominated at Nerts!! Take that Ryan and Barry! And we were bad parents and let our children stay up till midnight. And although I'm not proud of our parenting skills that night I did not regret it new years day when my kiddos slept in till ten.

Ringing in the New Year with the boys!!

Ryan look more tired than the kiddos!!

Krystle and I had WAY to much Sparkling Cider!!!
